Der mitteldeutsche Raum als eine Typusregion des Oligozäns – Aufschlüsse, Archive und überregionale Sammlungen

In this paper, important sites are presented which have either not yet been published or require additional information to already published material. The archive of the Saxony-Anhalt State Office of Geology and Mining (LAGB) in Halle (Saale) houses unpublished reports on a number of outcrops and drillholes. The essence of these documents is published here. The LAGB archive also holds reports on the results of previous resource surveys and on drillings within the state’s territory in its drilling archive. Several outcrops have undergone thorough new investigations. Along with the data and information from previously published outcrops, which only need to be cited, the information on outcrops/drillings listed here forms the basis for the scientific results in this volume of the ZDGG.
