Abstract

ABSTRACTThe Anthomyiidae is a large and diverse family of Diptera with approximately 1,600 species worldwide, some of which are agricultural pests. Although mtCOIbarcode analyses have been performed on Hylemya nigrimana(Meigen, 1826), the mitogenome of this taxon has not been assembled and analysed. Here, the complete mitogenome of H. nigrimanawas sequenced and analysed to confirm the systematic and phylogenetic history of this species. The mitogenome is 16,746 bp long with high A+T content, and consists of 13 protein-coding genes, 22 tRNA genes, two rRNA genes, and a noncoding control region. Our result provided a valuable genomic data for contributions to the evolutionary history of Anthomyiidae.
