Psychiatric disorders (PDs) are common among patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Brain-gut dysfunction and psychotropic medications may have adverse effects on postoperative outcomes in patients with IBD. This study aimed to evaluate the association between PD and outcomes after surgery for IBD.
