Abstract

The low vibration and noise of the integrated PMSM for electric canned pump design are presented in this paper.Based on analyzing the characteristics of the main excitation vibration sources characteristics of the integrated canned pump, a finite element simulation model and optimization design method of “electromagnetic-fluid-mechanical” multi-physics coupling are established and proposed. Then, two different structural schemes with the same inner and outer diameter and power were compared and optimized. Finally, the new prototype was developed and tested. The test results show that the motor runs normally at synchronous speed, the vibration mechanical acceleration is reduced by 13 dB, the noise is reduced by 5 dB(A), and efficiency is increased by 3.5% under the rated load. The validity and correctness of the low-noise design method are verified.
