Abstract

We introduce MagAnalyst, a user-friendly MATLAB toolbox designed to streamline the fitting process of anhysteretic magnetization curves using the Langevin–Weiss equation of state. Built upon the framework proposed by Silveyra and Conde Garrido, our toolbox facilitates the description of magnetically anisotropic materials through negative molecular fields and magnetically inhomogeneous materials through multicomponent magnetizations. This study showcases the reliability and accuracy of MagAnalyst, enabling the direct extraction of key parameters such as the anisotropy mean field and the induced anisotropy energy constant. By making this toolbox freely available at <uri>https://github.com/matias-gonz/maganalyst/</uri>, we aim to provide a valuable tool for comprehending the magnetic properties of soft magnets, thereby contributing to the development of cutting-edge magnetic devices.
