Integrated Multi‐Organ‐On‐Chip In article 2303943, Paul Wilmes and co‐workers introduce an integrated multiorgan‐on‐a‐chip platform combining the HuMiX gut‐on‐chip and Dynamic42 liver‐on‐chip to mimic the gut‐liver axis. This system supports intestinal and liver cell functionality, and in a proof‐of‐concept study, successfully recapitulates irinotecan metabolism. It highlights the role of gut bacteria in drug metabolism, offering a promising alternative to animal models for drug development.
