•Analysis of blood flow in stenosed artery using Casson model with tri-hybrid nanofluid.•Permeable artery under radial magnetic field effects analyzed in blood flow study.•Tri-hybrid nanoparticles in blood leads to promote axial velocity and heat transfer.•Results show that shear-thickening Blood flow is higher than shear-thinning blood.•Simulations aid nanodrug diffusion and magnetic-targeted treatment in stenosed arteries.
