Abstract

The S atom in the first shell breaks the local charge symmetry of the Co active center, resulting in the enhanced adsorption of oxygen and reaction intermediates during the oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) process, thereby greatly improving the activity and 4-electron selectivity of the ORR.
