Abstract
- This brief proposes bird-inspired search strategies and control methods for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to search for signal targets. The target search problem is divided into two stages. In the frequency-domain search, a sensor model with constraints is constructed, and a signal search strategy is designed. In the spatial search, the birds mimic task state transfer rules, search strategies, and control laws based on individual properties of bird behaviors are presented. Simulation results demonstrate the feasibility and efficiency of the proposed methods and provide valuable insights for the practical application of cooperative UAVs.
