Fundamental HIE Algorithm With PML Formulation for Ferrite Magnetic Material

Abstract
- A fundamental hybrid implicit–explicit (HIE) algorithm is proposed to simplify the entire update formulation in a single-direction fine structure. A modified auxiliary differential equation method is proposed for the simulation of ferrite magnetic material with the anisotropic characteristic. Perfectly matched layer (PML) formulation is modified to efficiently terminate boundaries of domains. The performance of the algorithm is illustrated through theoretical comparison and numerical experiments. As shown in the results, by employing the fundamental scheme, the simplest update form can be obtained, resulting in decrement of simulation time and memory consumption. The fundamental approximate method shows agreement between the theory solution and simulation results. Meanwhile, the fundamental HIE algorithm with PML formulation behaviors has considerable accuracy.
