Abstract
- During the first-year post-AlloHCT patients require readmission for various complications. Readmissions are associated with higher utilization of health care resources and cost, and it negatively impacts quality of life. While several studies have described risk factors for readmission in adult patients, limited data are available for the pediatric population. Understanding and addressing the modifiable risk factors that drive readmissions after alloHCT can potentially improve transplant outcome and decrease health care utilization.
