Abstract

•Outcomes in patients who developed septic shock after allo-HSCT were poor.•Gram-negative bacilli accounted for 61.5% of the positive isolates.•Escherichia coliwas the dominant isolated pathogen.•Patients with late-onset septic shock had a significantly worse outcome.•Of patients with sepsis-induced coagulopathy, the 28-day mortality rate was 88.1%.
