Abstract
- Direct inflow of the aberrant right gastric vein independent of the portal venous system to the liver parenchyma is a well known cause of non-tumorous abnormalities on CT angiography. However, there have been no previous reports of aberrant gastric venous drainage as the cause of non-tumorous abnormalities in the left lobe of the liver parenchyma adjacent to the falciform ligament on CT angiography. We present a case of direct inflow of an aberrant gastric vein to this region of the liver, which influenced the non-tumorous enhancement shown by CT hepatic arteriography.
