Abstract
- Quantitative evaluation of the antibacterial activity of conventional antibacterial agents in situ is difficult. In this study, we demonstrated that antibacterial activity can be quantitatively estimated from the photoluminescence intensity of pyrene fluorophores incorporated into tannic acid, a naturally occurring antibacterial agent.Quantitative evaluation of the antibacterial activity of conventional antibacterial agents in situ is difficult.
