Abstract
- •Persistent increased white matter lesion volume after chemotherapy for breast cancer.•Serum NfL, an axonal damage marker, levels followed the chemotherapy trajectory.•Serum NfL levels were associated with lesions one-year post-chemotherapy.•Potential of NfL to support therapeutic decision, disease activity or treatment response.
