Abstract
- The influence of blood eosinophil (EOS) on the effect of pulmonary rehabilitation (PR) has not been investigated previously. The improvement of 6-min walking test (6MWT) distance was more significant in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) patients with a high blood EOS count. A high peripheral blood EOS count could be used to predict the improvement in 6MWT distance with PR in COPD patients.
