Abstract

In2O3plays an important role in inhibiting hydrogen evolution reaction of lead-carbon battery (LCB). In this study, high purity indium hydroxide obtained by leaching tin indium oxide (ITO) glass waste has been applied in lead-carbon cell. Compared with ordinary lead-carbon cell, hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) of lead-carbon cell with added ITO recovery (R-ITO) is effectively inhibited.
