Abstract
- •On early follow-up, TMI is not associated with increased risk of subsequent malignant neoplasms (SMNs) relative to total body irradiation (TBI).•SMNs developed in 5.3% of patients who underwent TBI and in 5.9% of patients who underwent TMI.•SMNs occurred at a median of 3.3 years following TBI and 1.7 years following TMI.
