Abstract

In this study, a series of La1−xSrxAlO3(x = 0.0, 0.1, 0.15, and 0.2) nanotubes were prepared by electrospinning method, and their morphological and electrochemical properties were characterized. The results show that the La1−xSrxAlO3(x = 0.0, 0.1, 0.15, and 0.2) nanotubes exhibit a distinct hollow structure, the average diameters of the nanofibers are ∼75 nm, 70 nm, 95 nm, and 142 nm. The electrochemical results show that the La1−xSrxAlO3nanotubes have excellent electrochemical performance, and the maximum specific capacitance of 180 F/g for the La0.9Sr0.1AlO3. After 1500 charge–discharge cycles, the specific capacitance of the La0.9Sr0.1AlO3electrode retained ∼99%, indicating that it has good cycling stability and long service life. This provides a promising electrode material for supercapacitors.
