Resurrection of Lippia rodriguezii(Verbenaceae) an Endemic and threatened species of the grasslands of Misiones Province, Argentina

Lippia rodriguezii(Verbenaceae) is resurrected as a distinct species after being previously placed under synonymy of L. asperrima. An updated morphological description of L. rodrigueziiand a discussion on the differences between this species and L. asperrimaare presented. Lippia rodrigueziiis recognized as an endangered species, endemic to a narrow region of grasslands in Misiones Province, northeastern Argentina.
