Abstract

Aspergillus fumigatusis the most common opportunistic fungal pathogen and causes invasive pulmonary aspergillosis (IPA), with high mortality among immunosuppressed patients. The fungistatic activity of all-transretinoic acid (ATRA) has been recently described in vitro.
