Abstract
- The magnetooptic Kerr effect has been applied in the case of non - oriented steel where small and the desoriented grains have long discuraged any domain observations. With aid of newly developed method of magnetisation measurement the flux distribution in limited areas has been analysed. Through careful investigation along the hysteresis loop and images taken at two orthogonal sample orientation interesting local informations have been gathered but no magnetic features quantifiable in terms of the overall material performances.
