Abstract
- Duane syndrome is a congenital disorder of eye movement characterized by partial or absent development of the sixth cranial nerve nucleus andor the sixth nerve itself. Patients often undergo procedures, both surgical and nonsurgical, to correct ocular misalignment and improve the resulting visual problems. We present a case report of a 49-year-old woman with left-sided Duane syndrome who underwent aesthetic surgical correction of enophthalmos.
