Abstract
- This paper reports findings resulting from the investigation of sites of nuclear activity in the cervix. The value of 32P in the differentiation of malignant and non‐malignant tissues, when the ceils are sufficiently superficial for beta‐particle detection, is confirmed. The test has proved to be accurate and rapid. The value of this test as an aid to other Investigations in assessing the malignant potential of the “pre‐invasive” lesions of dysplasia and carcinoma‐in‐situ is discussed, and the use of the test as an indication of the efficiency of the destruction of malignant cells by radon therapy is evaluated.
