Abstract

Abstract.: We report a rare case of a young girl with an embryonal rhabdomyosarcoma of the right aryepiglottic fold. Local disease recurrence, occurring 7 years after subtotal resection and adjuvant chemotherapy, was studied with plain radiography, CT and MRI. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first report illustrating the MRI characteristics of a laryngeal embryonal rhabdomyosarcoma in a child.
