Abstract

We found that ADAM12 reduced cell numbers in proliferating preadipocytes, delayed differentiation of preadipocytes to adipocytes and increased lipid accumulation in mature adipocytes. ADAM12 knockdown impacted IGFBP/IGF/mTOR-growth and PPARĪ³ signalling pathways.
