Abstract

Electrocommunication: Bis‐tetrathiafulvalene (TTF) derivatives with amide units have been synthesized. The electronic communication between the TTF units was observed to occur in an intermolecular fashion owing to the formation of hydrogen‐bonded supramolecular assemblies. This work demonstrates that incorporation of hydrogen bonding sites is an effective methodology to induce intermolecular electronic interactions in solution.
