Abstract
- To examine the interrelations among foot and hip reaction times, body weight, age, height, experience (1 to 12 yr. practice of Judo), belt rank, and indices of performance in a judo contest, measures were taken from 34 males, aged 15 to 40 yr. (M= 23.0). Body weight and reaction times were not consistently related to contest scores, but amount of experience and belt rank were clearly positively related (rs ranged from .76—.91).
