- •Synthesize recoverable hybrid G-MgO-SCCA-Znozonation catalyst in the implication of MB degradation.•G-MgO-SCCA-Znperforms preferable catalytic potential to G-AC and G-MgO in the catalytic degradation of MB.•The MgO Nano-particles loaded and exposed on the surface of G-MgO-SCCA-Zncontributed to the preferable catalytic activity..•G-MgO-SCCA-Znis recyclable with stable catalytic activity.
