Selected New Techniques of Laryngeal Surgery

In recent years several advances in surgery of the larynx have been directed toward the solution of persisting problems. Some of these techniques are presented even though they are not strictly new but because they are not widely known outside the field of laryngology. These problems may coexist with, or arise from, diseases the surgeon is called upon to treat, such as vocal cord paralysis, laryngeal carcinoma, and laryngeal stenosis secondary to trauma.
