Abstract
- Whereas the reduction of (I) with 1 equiv. reducing agent gives the dimer Re2O2(R‐C≡C‐R)4, the use of 2 equiv. yields the compounds (II), rare examples of terminal oxo complexes in which metal‐oxygen antibonding orbitals are populated.
