Abstract
- Application of laminar airflow against dental aerosols in the dental operatory was used to minimize risk of infection to the dentist, auxiliary personnel, and patients. This investigation was concerned with attempts to alleviate serious health hazards caused by some modern dental equipment and procedures. The studies show that laminar airflow can be a positive factor in controlling airborne and surface contamination.
