Abstract
- ABSTRACTBased on classification and ordination of vegetational data recorded on the Roman amphitheater of Italica (S. Spain), the compositional variation of lichen communities is related to the main ecological parameters: type of substratum, solar irradiation and eutrophication. The data were further processed by a program of automatic mapping, to produce a model showing the main patterns of lichen-induced chromatic changes within the amphitheater.
