Abstract

Key factorsthat influence the synthesis of monodisperse and single‐loaded SPION§SiO2nanostructure in the water‐in‐oil reverse microemulsion system have been obtained and are further suggested to effectively minimize the homogeneous nucleation of silica while maintaining the high dispersivity of SPION§SiO2, and to control the single‐loading of oleic acid capped SPION into silica matrix. W. Bu, J. Shi et al. present a more detailed mechanism for incorporating oleic acid capped inorganic functional nanoparticles into silica proposed on the basis of previous reports and the new experimental results.
