Relief of the pre-Quaternary surface of the Baltic region

On the basis of geological-geophysical data, we have for the first time compiled a map of the structural contours of the pre-Quaternary surface of the Baltic region. Us brief characteristics are presented. It has been demonstrated that during the initial development of the morphostructures of the pre-Quaternary relief, the main role is taken by the tectonic factor, and during the final formation, by the exaration activity of glaciers and erosional-denudation processes. —Author.
