Role de l'ozone sur la formation des trihalomethanes

The nature and the concentration of the trihalomethanes resulting from a pre-ozonation/chlorination treatment was investigated in the laboratory on synthetic or natural waters. The incidence of pre-ozonation was studied, on the one hand, on the degradation or the production of haloform precursors depending on the ozonation rate, and on the other at the oxidation level of inorganic substances especially bromides and ammonia.
