Abstract
- 1.The insecticides DDT and 1,1-bis(p-chlorophenyl)-2,2-dichlorocyclopropane have similar conformations in solutions.2.The insecticide DDT and its analogs in solutions have a conformation, in which one aromatic ring eclipses the C-H bond (?=62±3‡), and the plane of the second ring is perpendicular to the C<subscript>ar</subscript>-C-C<subscript>ar</subscript> plane (?=85‡).
