Allylic cations σ-bonded to the π-C5H5Fe(CO)L group

Abstract: Conclusions 1.The preparation of allylic cations s-bonded to the p-C<subscript>5</subscript>H<subscript>5</subscript>Fe(CO)PPh<subscript>3</subscript> group was reported for the first time and some of the reactions of these cations with nucleophiles were studied.2.In the reaction of cations with amines, imine salt complexes [CH<subscript>3</subscript>-C(=N<superscript>+</superscript>R'R?)CH=CHFe(CO)(PPh<subscript>3</subscript>)C<subscript>5</subscript>H<subscript>5</subscript>-p]X<superscript>-</superscript> are formed which, in the case when R' ? R?, are a mixture of stereoisomers. The isomeric composition does not change upon deprotonation of the salts (R'=H) and reprotonation of the neutral imine complexes.
