Abstract

Binary cyclo-tetraphosphates Me<subscript>2</subscript><superscript>II</superscript>-<subscript>x</subscript>M<subscript>x</subscript><superscript>II</superscript>P<subscript>4</subscript>O<subscript>12</subscript> were synthetized via the thermal decomposition and recrystallization of polyphosphate glasses, i.e. binary higher linear phosphates (Me<subscript>2</subscript><superscript>II</superscript>-<subscript>x</subscript>M<subscript>x</subscript><superscript>II</superscript>)<subscript>n/4</subscript>H<subscript>2</subscript>P<subscript>n</subscript>O<subscript>3n+l</subscript>. The syntheses ofc-Zn<subscript>2</subscript>-<subscript>x</subscript>Mg<subscript>x</subscript>P<subscript>4</subscript>O<subscript>12</subscript> andc-Zn<subscript>2</subscript>-<subscript>x</subscript>Ca<subscript>x</subscript>P<subscript>4</subscript>O<subscript>12</subscript> are presented as examples.
