Abstract

Properties ofD mesons produced in the photo-production experiment NA 14/2 at CERN are reported. The following ratios of branching fractions were measured: $$\begin{gathered} Br(D^0 \to K^ + K^ - )/Br(D^0 \to K^ - \pi ^ + ) = 0.16 \pm 0.05, \hfill \\ Br(D^0 \to K^ - \pi ^ + \pi ^0 )/Br(D^0 \to K^ - \pi ^ + ) = 4.0 \pm 0.09 \pm 1.0, \hfill \\ Br(D^0 \to K^ - \pi ^ + \pi ^ + \pi ^ - )/Br(D^0 \to K^ - \pi ^ + ) \hfill \\ = 1.9 \pm 0.25 \pm 0.20 \hfill \\ \end{gathered} $$ .
