Superlattice fabrication of perovskite oxide with different B-site cations

Abstract

Superlattice fabrication is demonstrated by using SrCuO2+Ο‡and SrCoO2.5. Samples were prepared layer by layer with molecular beam epitaxy. The stacking of the each layer is investigated by x-ray diffraction. We succeeded in changing the B-site cations by every layer. However, the presence of two inequivalent cobalt oxide layers in SrCoO2.5strongly affects the structure of the superlattices.
