Abstract

Abstract: High temperature is an important factor inducing bacterial disease of the prawn (Penaeus orientalis). Water temperature over 35°C apparently stopped tested baculovirus from multiplying. High contents of ammonia-nitrogen and nitrite-nitrogen poison the prawn’s body, weaken its physique and may induce and worsen the disease.
