Abstract

We have investigated the influence of the oxygen stoichiometry on the structures, dielectric and ferroelectric properties of the BaTiO 3 thin films. The oxygen content in the films has a significant effect on lattice parameters, crystalline phase, crystallographic orientation, dielectric constant, dissipation factor, spontaneous polarization and polarization-electric field curves.
