Abstract

A new synthesis route to the $\pi $-d ferrimagnet TTF[ Cr(NCS)4(1,10'-phenanthroline)] is described along with recent magnetic investigations. In particular the variable frequency AC magnetisation of the protonated and fully deuterated samples indicate no frequency dependence and a Tcof 8.7 K. Single crystal heat capacity and muon spin relaxation experiments show a second magnetic transition at 2.4 K. Key words.Charge-transfer salts, conductivity, ferrimagnetism.
