Abstract: The article offers information on the history, purpose and significance of the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act (USERRA), which protects the rights of reservists and service members in the U.S. armed forces against the employers discrimination. It informs that the USERRA offers protection from discrimination in work environment; fulfils a reemployment requirement after military service, and protection from premature termination.
