Abstract

The article discusses trademark counterfeiting in China, focusing on international intellectual property rights, child labor in China, and the costs associated with counterfeiting. Criminal activity and a scandal involving fake toothpaste are mentioned. According to the article, China is the largest producer of counterfeit consumer goods. The U.S. Customs and Border Protection agency and China's Trademark Law are examined, along with American companies and trademark infringement in China.
