Abstract

The article discusses several U.S. search and seizure-related legal cases which deal with topics such as an individual's reasonable expectation of privacy, the Fourth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, and government access to cell phone location information under the U.S. Stored Communications Act. Probable cause, implied consent, and allegedly unconstitutional per se exceptions to a warrant requirement are also examined. A defendant's arrest for driving while intoxicated (DWI) is assessed.
