Abstract

The article mentions several hybrids of cactus Opuntia diploursina (O. diploursina) from northwestern Arizona. Topics discussed include features of cactus including O. basilaris which is having straight, short reddish-brown spines discovered by researcher David Silverman, O. treleasei having cream colored stigma discovered by researcher J.M. Colter and O. nicholii is stable and self propagating hybrid discovered by researcher Dorde Wright Woodruff. It also presents photographs of the cactus.
