Abstract
- A literary criticism is presented for the books "All the Pretty Horses" and "Cities of the Plain" by Cormac McCarthy, the first and third books in his "Border Trilogy." Themes explored include race, gender, and cross-border interactions between the American and Mexican characters living near the U.S.-Mexican border.
