Abstract
- The article discusses a proposal formulated by zoologists, disease ecologists, conservation biologists and other experts in the parasitological community for linking human activities with basic evolutionary principles and for providing a framework to enable cooperation among specialists and institutions around the world. Topics covered include the Stockholm Paradigm, the importance of knowledge in systematics, and the importance of documenting discovered species.
